KED DEVICE
As used around the world, the Ferno KED is designed with horizontal flexibility
which allows easy application of the KED to patients trapped in bucket seats or other
confined areas. Three built-in lifting handles permit a firm grip or attachment
to rope system for patient extrication.

This is the original device designed by Rick Kendrick, it is new and improved. 25 years later, this unit can be put into use faster and will provide more stability. It is one slat wider and has color coded buckles, lower leg buckles are better positioned for easier location and anatomical correct useage. The carry bag is vented to help keep the device drier while stored. The forehead and chin straps are stored conveniently in a vented pouch on the side of the carry bag.
